Riverside Holiday Homes is committed to environmental protection & sustainability through striving to minimise our operational on the environment through resource conservation & best practices.

In delivering this commitment, we will endeavour to:

• Work diligently to minimise our waste stream and conserve natural resources, especially through energy and water conservation.
• Comply with all applicable environmental legislation to minimise the use of energy, waste and water while not compromising on the guest experience.
• Make environmental considerations an important aspect of decision making.
• We are committed to operating in a manner that is as environmentally responsible without infringing on your comfort.
• We seek every opportunity to incorporate Green attitude in all our activities in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint.
• Promise to consider the opinions and feedback of our guests when examining our environmental programs and procedures.
• Identify areas for improvement and support the efforts of Green Tourism; guests can help by switching off unnecessary lights, taps are not left dripping, windows open while the heating is turned on.
• Build local partnerships in the community where we do business. These partnerships allow us to effect positive environmental change, and raise awareness for our guests and colleagues.
